Today was a awesome day to be on the river. The day started out at about 39 degrees and foggybut it didnt take long before we had the first fish in the net. Jeff had drove down from Louisville Kentucky to spend the day with us fishing. Before we knew it Jeff had caught 10 or 12 fish and the skies had cleared and it was 60 degrees. After lunch things just kept getting better. The next fish he hooked was a really nice 18 inch rainbow that thought it was a acrobat, jumping and flopping around. Jeff ended the day with a good 22-25 fish day. Stonefly patterns seemed to be the hot tip for today. Girdle bugs in blk/brn and small blk early stones on 5 and 6x tippet.
