2019 is starting out strong for us. We are catching some really nice fish right now. We have been out scouting our local public streams and our own private waters for the last couple month and finding some good ones. Our trips usually dont get cranked up until March so we have some time to get out and do our own thing. The delayed harvest sections on the N. Toe, Wilson Creek, Catawba and Cane River are all fishing good this month. The state does a great job of stocking those streams the first of Mar, April, May, Oct and Nov. These fish will usually always go for Girdle bugs, eggs, San Juan worms, Wooly Buggers and many other small flashy nymph patterns. The key to fishing this time of year is keep your cool and be patient andget your flies down to em.
